Dear Ambassador,

I have read with alarm recent reports that the US is planning to launch military strikes against Iran. I ask you to clarify both under what circumstances an attack would take place and what would cause the US to use nuclear weapons against Iran. I want you to know that I am presently totally opposed to such an attack and call for international diplomacy in adherence with treaties, like the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, to be used to resolve this situation.

Please convey this to President Bush on my behalf.
